I’ve been a White Sox fan for as long as I can remember. The first game that I attended was on August 2nd, 1988, at the old Comiskey Park, with the White Sox defeating the Athletics 7-5. You can find the box score and play-by-play here.
I’ve suffered through Terry Bevington and lived through the glory days of the 2005 run. I booed Billy Koch and stood up and cheered when Shingo’s gong played. I knew when Frank was going to send one long and I knew when Pablo was going to squeak one through the infield for a White Sox winner.
Good guys wear black.
